Is Claude Code Down?

If Claude Code appears stuck, cannot connect, or starts failing repeatedly, check the homepage signal first. A spike in reports can indicate that other users are seeing the same issue right now.

Claude Code issues do not always mean the full Claude service is down. Sometimes the problem is narrower, such as editor integration, authentication, routing, or a product-specific failure path.

That is why this page should be read as a live user-report signal, not a confirmed outage notice. Compare the crowd signal with the official status page and your own direct testing before drawing conclusions.
