Claude Login Not Working?
Use this page when Claude.ai sign-in fails, verification codes do not complete, or Claude Code cannot log in through the web flow.
Login failures are one of the easiest ways for a narrower Claude incident to feel like a full outage. You may still reach the site, but the session flow, email code step, or account handoff can break.
Start with the live tracker on the homepage. If reports are spiking, especially during a known authentication incident, that is a better signal that the problem is wider than your own browser session.
If Claude login is not working, check these in order:
- Try a private window so you remove stale cookies and extensions from the test.
- Reload the login flow from a clean tab instead of retrying the same broken session repeatedly.
- Switch networks if you are on a corporate VPN, proxy, or restrictive office connection.
- Check the official status page for authentication or Claude.ai updates.
- If Claude Code sign-in is failing, confirm whether the issue is with login specifically or all Claude surfaces.
A useful distinction: if the website loads but you cannot sign in, that does not automatically mean the Claude API is also down. It may be an auth-only issue.
